Our dear friend Jane is always pleased with the view from her Drapanos bedroom in northern Crete but when she woke on the morning of Sunday 8th Jan 2017, she was astonished and amazed because the landscape was covered in deep and crisp and clean white snow for as far as she could see.

...'Hobo, it's atmospheric water vapour frozen into ice crystals and falling in light white flakes or lying on the ground as a white layer....
...I thought everyone knew that...
...simply the energy of nature...and nature's in control...
...so now you know, a visit to greece is always absorbing and rewarding...'
